HiRiDEEV Limited Warranty Policy | November 21st, 2024 - Today
 

Our products all fall under the same warranty policy regardless of model and EV type. Your warranty is automatically activated once the product arrives at your door. This warranty policy will be divided into 4 sections describing what we cover, what voids your warranty, what actions we will take to honor your warranty, and the duration of your warranty. Each section will be using bullet points to make this warranty policy easier to read and understand.​​​​

Warranty Coverage Duration

• The warranty on all of our EV products lasts for a duration of either 10000 miles (with a 5 year cutoff), 4000 miles (with a 2 year cutoff), or 6 months depending on the EV.

Warranty Void Conditions + Advice & Additional Information

​

• The warranty is voided if your EV does not have the stock essential components. Components that are not classified as stock essential on our EVs are suspension, tires, tubes (if applicable), grip tape, brake calipers, brake rotors, kickstand, and handlebars.

​

• Modifying the BMS to allow for a higher charger current flow and/or higher charge voltage will void your warranty. The BMS uses those settings to protect the battery from too high of a charging speed or too high of a charging voltage, and is used to optimize the battery for the most charge cycles possible without compromising too much range. However, setting the charger current flow and/or charge voltage to a lower value will not void your warranty unless the charge voltage is under the cutoff voltage of your EV.

• Editing any of the settings for your EV's controllers without prior authorization will void your warranty if the settings you change cause damage to the EV. The controllers in your EV are optimized for the best performance and most comfortable ride possible. Certain settings can be edited that are guaranteed to not void your warranty. Those being Ratios in Speed, Ratios in Gear, and TCS on the Fardriver App.

• If your EV is lost or stolen, your warranty will be voided regardless of if you recover the EV. All of our EVs have a GPS tracker installed that you can connect to using the SinoTrack PRO app. It will only function in areas with a network connection. Instructions on how to activate the GPS tracker can be found on your EV's manual.

• If your EV is involved in a crash or wipeout, your warranty will be voided.

​

• Incorrectly connecting or misarranging components inside the base of your EV will void your warranty. We highly advise against going into the base of your EV without knowledge of where everything goes and how everything connects. An instruction manual listing where each connection and component goes will be provided via E-Mail upon request.

• Damage caused to your EV in any way from negligence will void your warranty (This includes rust).

​

• If water gets inside of your EV, your warranty will be voided. Always make sure to reapply the mounting putty that seals the base of the EV before closing the base. If no mounting putty is present upon inspecting the product after unpackaging it, please contact us.

• Damage caused to your EV in any way from a failed attempt at replacing components will void your warranty. It is recommended to follow all instructions given for replacing components so any chance of failure is minimized.

What The Warranty Covers

​

• Unmodified stock components or parts that have become damaged from normal use.

​

• Unmodified stock components that have become defective or faulty from normal use.

​

• Replacement components purchased or sent from HiRiDEEV that have become defective or faulty from normal use.

 

What We Will Do To Honor Your Warranty​​

• If you are near a repair shop that is authorized to repair our EVs, we will notify them and schedule a day and time that fits you and the repair shop to get your EV repaired.

​

• If you do not want a repair shop to repair your EV, or there are no repair shops authorized to repair our EVs near you, we will send you the parts covered under warranty along with instructions on how to change those parts.
